Deep ruby red with a purple rim.
Tasting Notes: Powerful, rich, voluptuous red wine. The colour is deep, almost black. On the nose scents of oak (peanut shells, walnuts, sweet spices), black pepper, hints of flowers and a neat fruit of cherries (both red and black). On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, dense and intense, with masculine oak tannins. The aftertaste shows clean and lingering notes of red cherry, mandarin, cinnamon and vanilla.
Recommended food pairings: Barbecued red meats, braised beef and lamb, and aged cheeses.
