Fruity, honeyed, malty and quite lovely.
Tasting Notes: The palate is creamy with dark honey, fruitcake, cinnamon and clove, and thick caramel. It is quite malty. I detect the faintest hint of peat, especially with water, which also brings out some chili heat and a balsamic note.
Recommended food pairings: Its creamy texture and honeyed sweetness complement creamy cheeses and soft fruits. Consider roasted nuts, dried fruits, or even smoked meats for a heartier pairing.
